Types of Golf Discs
Discs Golf discs have four primary types based upon their intended use.
Distance drivers are designed for maximum range. They are designed to fly at high speeds and have a sharp, beveled edge.
Fairway drivers are long range discs used when you need a combination of distance and accuracy. They are generally easier to throw and control than distance drivers and make better introductory level drivers for beginners.
Midrange discs are used for medium ranged drives and long approaches. They have a beveled edge but are less aerodynamic than long range drivers. Midrange discs are designed to provide consistent and accurate flights.
Putters are designed for shorter drives, approach shots and putts. Putters are slow-flying but very easy to control and accurate when touch and placement are required.
