[Pro D Buzz]
by Kevin Leahy Date Added: Saturday 28 May, 2011
I don't see where the hype comes from. I'm no pro, but I've been playing for about eight years on and off, and with dozens of discs; this is one of the hardest discs I've fought with to control. I know I've got a powerful throw that is often problematic, but I NEVER chuck this full velocity. If I did, it'd flop over. Under no circumstances is it able to handle my sidearm throws, and only when I'm extremely careful with backhand (_150') can I get it to be where I want it to. Even then, from time to time I stare at it with disappointment as it floats off into the brush. I've since switched to its far overstable brother the Drone, and have been pleased. I'm sure players with less power or more spin can have much more success with them, but if you're unsure, just take the safe bet and buy a Roc.

Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players throw flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) from a tee area toward a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. Formalized in the 1970s, disc golf is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
