AVENGER SS ESP
[SS Avenger E]
$13.95
by John Hernlund Date Added: Thursday 02 October, 2008
This is the straightest flying disc I've ever thrown, and a staple in my bag. It is fast and doesn't require a big arm to go far...with moderate power and no run up I've thrown this one over level ground for 300 ft in a line drive. It'll glide nicely down moderate slopes for 350 ft without much effort. The soft, supple, grippy plastic makes for a very nice grip and a nice release and snap. When thrown anhyzer, the disc will turn quite readily, although I don't use this disc for turnovers or rollers since it is less controllable on such shots than more predictable turnover disc like the Innova Sidewinder.

This is a great disc for players ordinarily throwing 200-300 ft drives. For bigger arms, this disc might be too understable for longer drives, though it will still be useful for straight tunnel shots or where a run up is not possible, e.g., for poor footing or in a tight 200-300 ft approach shot situation.

Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players throw flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) from a tee area toward a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. Formalized in the 1970s, disc golf is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
